Sydney Eberwein is a Vancouver based actor. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where she received her BFA in Acting. Film credits include Edge of Apollo, by Marcus Hann, which premiered at the Toronto Lift-off Online Festival in 2018, and has since played at numerous festivals including the Whistler Film Festival, International Short Film Festival SFF, and Chilliwack Independent Film Festival. Other credits include feature film, Dionysus by Wylie Rush and Traditions directed by Adam Smith. Sydney wrapped production on two short films in January 2019 - Isolation directed by Justin Bromley and Your Own Good directed by Caleb Pilgrim.
Sydney moved to "Hollywood North" in 2018 after living and studying for five years in NYC. She holds dual citizen with Canada and the USA and is happy to be working in her homeland for the time being.
While at NYU, Sydney had the honor of working with inspiring professors, directors, and artists: Elizabeth Bradley, Daniel Talbott, Lila Neugebaur, Lyle Kessler, Robert Ellermann, Geoffrey Horne, Irma Saundrey, and Oskar Eustis, to name a few. Beyond acting on camera and stage, Sydney enjoys all things nature, cooking, and adventuring around the globe. She holds a passion for life and all its eccentricities. At the core of her childhood were dogs, art, hockey, food, arguments, and sadly cancer. Sydney's mum passed away from cancer when she was 9 years old. This loss shaped her life and Sydney dedicates her passion, drive, and art to her mum, Louise.
